What lymphatic-style facial massage is

Lymphatic-style facial massage uses slow, light and rhythmic movements rather than firm pressure into the muscle.

Some clients find that their face appears temporarily less puffy and their skin looks refreshed after treatment. It is offered as part of a beauty facial, not as medical lymphoedema treatment.

What happens in the room at Atlas

The face is cleansed, then light, rhythmic massage may begin around the neck and collarbones before moving across the face.

The movements travel across areas including the forehead, around the eyes, cheeks and jaw with very light pressure.

It is quiet, warm and deeply repetitive. A number of clients fall asleep during this part, which is entirely fine.

Who it suits

Some clients choose this technique when their face appears puffy or their skin looks tired, or when they prefer very light facial massage.

If you have lymphoedema or an ongoing medical condition affecting fluid or circulation, seek advice from your GP or treating practitioner before booking.

How it may help

Some clients notice a temporary reduction in the appearance of puffiness or find that their skin looks refreshed afterwards. Results vary between individuals.

This is a beauty and relaxation treatment, not medical lymphatic drainage or lymphoedema treatment.
